We live in a world of confusion, and it is becoming harder to decipher between God’s truth and Satan’s tactics.
As we live in a way that is holy, virtuous, and clean, we can be a vessel to receive direction and guidance from our Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost. President Russell M. Nelson said, “As we seek to be disciples of Jesus Christ, our efforts to hear Him need to be ever more intentional. It takes conscious and consistent effort to fill our daily lives with His words, His teachings, His truths.”
Taking the time to put Jesus Christ first in our lives shows Heavenly Father that we are willing to be open to His direction. In Ether 12:41, it reads, “And now I commend you to seek this Jesus”. Diligent labor in seeking Jesus throughout the busyness of our lives will eventually become a habit and lead to greater revelation. Studies show that after 3 weeks, we can form a new habit with consistent effort. What is one small change you can make in your life to come closer to Jesus Christ so that the Spirit can more fully lead you to your divine potential?
